WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. government has failed to stop China from stealing intellectual property from American universities and lacks a comprehensive strategy for dealing with the problem.
That’s according to a congressional report released Monday that faults multiple government agencies for not being more proactive about the threat of Chinese economic and industrial espionage.

Set them up and let them steal some phony research.
But but but...profiling would be wacist.
Are the right laws in place?
Being enforced?
Or does Congress need to stop screwing around and create them?
Industry and government grant money that fuels university research into physics, material science, biochemistry and information/data science form a continuous data stream of valuable information towards beijing and shanghai.
Steal, hell Clinton gave them most of it for campaign donations.
Good one.
Maybe a cruel Chicom team could kidnap Pelosi,AOC,Tlaib,Maxine Waters and Schiff and invade their brains with rays to extract their total brainpower and knowledge.
Serve them right to come up with a reading showing "Total storage space still available for data: 99.9999%" after the brain drain process. Computer will add: "No intelligent life found here."
Note: Why not full 100% space available? The one piece of data gleaned from each was "I hate Trump."
Maybe it's because American universities are so full of communists, but that's just a guess.
