Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman certainly comes across as a slippery character. He didn’t inform his boss when he went to lawyers over his concerns over the Trump-Zelensky phone call, and informed the Ukraine president about an alleged plot but not his own commander in chief.
And he exaggerated the importance of his position, the old resume-enhancement gambit, and was busted for it yesterday.

Vindman previously claimed in his opening statement to be the “principal advisor to the National Security Advisor and the president on Ukraine and the other countries in my portfolio.”
When asked about the claim however by Republican Congressman Mike Turner of Ohio, Vindman admitted to having never met, spoken with, or advised the president on anything.
“You’ve never spoken to the president and told him advice on Ukraine,” Turner said.
“That is correct,” Vindman said.

Doesn’t this guy have a boss in the chain of command? Who is it? Why isn’t he up on some kind of charges for his actions? We should not have minor officers trapsing around as independent agents provocateur.

The USA State Department has been grabbing control & power hand over fist since Reagan left office.
They all got away with it for years.
Trump isn’t letting them steer the ship anymore.
