Report: Illegal immigration drops to ‘normal’ levels, ‘Trump can take the credit’.....

Illegal immigration across the southern border has fallen back to “normal” levels, and the Trump administration can take the “credit” for instituting policies to turn back the flood of families that started to surge along the border during the Obama administration, according to a new report.

“The border appears to be coming back under control in terms of incoming activity,” said the report from Princeton Policy Advisors.

Princeton President Steven Kopits, an immigration expert, added, “there is still a massive backlog in the courts and regarding migrants being held under various auspices, but the flow has now normalized to more typical levels, and as [of] last month, President Trump can take the credit.”

And when are the 10s of millions that have flooded the US going to go home or get rounded up and deported? Recent reports show that Trump has deported fewer than Obama. Newest figure puts illegals in the US at up to around 30 million.

Maybe close and seal the border December 26 and only allow US citizens back north. That should take care of a few million.

Trump’s fought tooth and nail for every inch of wall built and every illegal that doesn’t get caught and released. If he weathers the current storm and gets re-elected it should be a little easier.

There is nothing stopping him now from rounding up people that have overstayed or have been given deportation. Workplace enforcement is an option that seems to get for-show roundup but not much more. What about those 100,000 criminal DACA? What about his 'millions starting next week'? The wall got a slow start, can't say even that form deportations. Wall increased, deportations dropped.

How about cutting a deal? Implement eVerify in trade for extending DACA to those illegals still in school, the rest go home now.

Or simplier maybe, demand everyone just enforce existing laws.

Look, I am appreciative of the challenges faced, but a lot of moves turned out to be unforced errors leading to few or no deportation accomplishments.

Yes....I think they nipped the caravans in the bud on Mexico’s Southern Border....especially once Trump said the caravans etc. had to remain inside Mexico’s border..........So mexico could no longer run them through their country to ours.

Far too many complaints here...there are laws that stopped Trump...and various other avenues he attempted were fought.....this was no quick fix by any means..... FurtherVore the news isn’t reporting what other measures he’s taken.....all news is about this inquiry...

They're patients. Can't ask them more than a name, confidentiality issues. Hell this place hires them. Ever work in an environment like this before? You'd be surprised at how this system is scammed and how it's virtually impossible to do anything about. For Christs sake a good number of police agencies won't cooperate with ICE on this bs.

One other thing....any Ukrainian press can be toyed with...Interfax generally is ok.....unfortunately all press is biased to some extent.

Ukraines new President has his hands plenty full cleaning up Ukraine even a little bit as ukrainians overall do business and all else with bribes and payoffs...top down to the streets... everybody takes a cut and it’s expected.
