Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren was given the first question of the Democratic debate tonight, of whether and how she would attempt to convince Republican senators to vote to remove President Trump in an impeachment trial.

She didn't hesitate. She will tell her Republican colleagues, "Read the Mueller report." She urged Republicans to look and see that Trump committed obstruction of justice.

It's a telling answer, especially amid all the Democratic messaging failures over "bribery" and "quid pro quo" and whatever other terms they try and fail to make catch on when they discuss Ukraine.

I heard Warren this morning on the radio "news" driving in this morning. They played the clip of her sermonizing on the Trump corruption documented in the Mueller Report. The "reporter" treated her as a wise oracle, not once questioning her conclusions or offering rebuttal.

We here on FR know both sides of the political debate and make decisions based on facts, data, common sense, and logic. But that is not what many of the swing voters who decide close elections are doing. They are hearing the MSM pablum and factoring it into their voting choice. It's no wonder we face such an uphill climb. Damn the media.
