Immigration hardliners gain key Trump posts in USCIS shake-up

A group of immigration hardliners, including some who worked at an organization that has been described as a hate group by an advocacy watchdog that monitors extremism, have gained powerful posts in the federal agency in charge of administering benefits for immigrants, asylum-seekers and refugees.

The appointments at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) follow the recent promotion of its former acting director, Ken Cuccinelli, to the second-highest position at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Cuccinelli has been a vocal proponent of measures to restrict both legal and unauthorized immigration.

John Zadrozny, who was a top aide to Cuccinelli, has been promoted to acting chief of staff, while Robert Law, formerly a senior adviser, was named acting chief of policy.

Both Zadrozny and Law have worked for the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), whose stated mission is to "reduce overall immigration to a more normal level," and which has been designated as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), an organization that advocates for progressive issues and monitors the activities of groups it considers extremist.

There is absolutely no way we are going to be able to deport all 30 million illegals ever, nor it simply is not feasible or desirable to do. Nor is it in the best interests of the United States to do so

Wrong, wrong, wrong. Perfect score.

Then explain to me where I am wrong.

I really want to be proved wrong on this, but the way it is.

If you suddenly removed ten percent of our population our economic system would grind to a halt and we would go into an economic collapse which would make the Great Depression look like a minor economic speed bump.

The opposite would happen. Labor would be right size and wages would truly go up and pull many off the welfare and public assistance. It would be so wonderful, roads, schools hospitals would be accessible again and not overrun. YOU HAVE IT BASS - AKWORDS YOU FOOLISH VIRTUE SIGNALLER.

I have no virtue to signal.

You are simply wrong in your analysis.

Getting rid of 12 million criminals and deadwood along with cutting off welfare for those left ( many would self deport) would be a net positive that our economy could equilibrate to with maybe even a significant net positive.

30 million?

No way.

Drain 30 million people out of the country in 2-3 years?

Our system would shut down and President Trumps MAGA agenda would die on the vine

Perhaps we can do it slower then.
But they ALL must go.

We have a huge demographic problem with aging baby boomers retiring from workplace and living into their 80s combined with fewer young workers in the work force to support them.

Its structural so either we have to radically overhaul Social Security or find a source of younger workers to balance the books.

We really have to face the reality on this topic.

Reforming social security has been tried and it is just not going to happen

We need to get rid of the criminals, the non productive welfare riders and the chronic health care problems and the general desirables

We really have no choice but to come to some accommodation with hard working, productive people who support themselves and want to become assimilated into America

We also need to recruit more high skill people as well and we need to restrict voting rights for non citizens so the don't vote

Not what I want but this is just the simple reality of where we are.

We all sink or swim together and I'm not willing to cut off my nose to spite my face.

Anybody who has a better idea -more power to them, but these are the hard facts

Its simple

We need to get rid of undesirables and eliminate welfare payments to immigrants

We need to come to some accommodation with with the good, hard working people who support themselves and wish to assimilate.

Those that do not wish to assimilate are undesirables and need go be deported.

We need to prevent non citizens from voting

We need to recruit the best and brightest into this country.

Prove me wrong on this one because I really, really want to be proven wrong on this

We can reform Social Security and we have a much bigger demographic problem with the flood of foreigners from anti-liberty cultures both illegal and legal.

If we don’t expel the invaders liberty is dead and the economy will follow.

Importing communists is the left’s strategy and we can’t let it succeed, even if we do experience some economic pain it will be nothing compared to what the communists will cause if allowed to stay.

How do we reform social security ?

When SS was started, there were roughly 60 employed workers for every retiree - without immigrants, today its about 4-5 and will soon be 2, maybe 3 If lucky

That does not count the 14 million on SS long term disability

There is no political will to raise retirement age to 72 at least, probably 75.

Its also not feasible because not all people are capable of working past 65 - the gift of longevity is not uniformly distributed and a laborer who has done hard physical labor may not be in as good of condition as a doctor or engineer

Its not just Social Security, illegal aliens have a majort economic impact just by being here. They have to pay rent, by groceries and clothing so they are consumers who have firmed up demand in pretty much every sector of the economy

In today’s economy, an illegal alien is not taking your job and its very likely that iob you have is supported. , at least in part, because illegal aliens are purchasing your goods or service. You just don't know it

Regardless, enough of your customers depend on illegals for their paycheck that any loss on their part has direct impact on you.

There are entire cities in California that would become virtual ghost towns if all the illegals were deported

“How do we reform social security ?”

Means test it, then only allow new enrollments for x number of years.

They take more jobs than they support but you could draw out the deportations to avoid any shock to the system and allow things to adapt.

You are wrong on that, illegals aliens are not stealing jobs in today's booming economy where unemployment is around 3%

Ive already come out advocating the immediate apprehension and expedited deportation of at least 12 million undesirable class alien illegals, at least 6 million of which are hard core, violent criminals

For the record, that's more than the entire illegal population according to CNN and Democrats

Deporting these high priority undesirables is going to he a bit of job, I'm thinking, so the rest of the productive members are just going to have to wait their turn for deportation

It will be a while

Have you considered we may have more pressing priorities than kicking industrious , hard working and self sufficient illegals to the curb.

We are currently in a serious economic war with China and much of the rest of the world.

Central to the Presidents MAGA Agenda is to resuscitate Americas manufacturing sector as a critical economic and national security priority

Trump is winning on this against all odds and companies are in investing in building new factories and reinvesting in modernization and expansion of existing plants.

Companies cant find nearly enough workers to staff these new and expanded factories as it is with current low unemployment

Dump 30 million working age adults from the economy and all our efforts to restore Americas manufacturing base will be wasted and foreign companies will stop moving factories and jobs to the United States. Thus killing MAGA just as it was getting started.

You are so wrong headed. The opposite would happen. Every state that got tough on illegals did really great afterwords, Alabama for one example. So you make no sense.

Simply put you are an economic/social idiot. So why not import 100 million more illegals if it so good for out economy. Clearly you own dang toilet loser.

Jeez, at least give me credit for demanding the immediate deportation of 12. - 16 million undesirable illegal aliens - in including 6 the million serious, violent criminals acknowledged Obama’s Eric Holder DOJ

Thats more than the official estimated. number of 11 million for the total number of illegals in the country

And you are wrong in your opinions
