Did some checking. This is supposedly a combat veteran who has a clip that exceeds the capacity of Cuomo’s Anti gun law. So they came to get him and his guns, and he is hold up in his house. He was posting about it but they killed his internet and power. The media is not reporting what it is about:

In short, it looks as if an old army buddy falsely claimed that this fellow had "post-traumatic stress disorder" (PTSD) and was spoiling for a fight with police, who then threatened his wife with the loss of her children to "Child Protective Services" if she didn't allow the fuzz to forcibly enter the house and seize this fellow's personal firearms and associated supplies, which evidently included at least one banned high-capacity rifle magazine. Later on, this fellow came back from work and "holed up" in his own home, and an unknown number of supporters — reportedly as many as 75 — arrived on the scene for a possible "boogaloo," whatever that means. The police apparently cut off this fellow's Internet connection and his cellphone service during the standoff. Hours went by, and the standoff ended without violence.
That's my unverified, simplified, off-the-cuff impression of what happened. A fuller account probably will vary considerably from the picture painted by initial news reports.

Cops say lots of stuff to get citizens to stay out of their way. This is especially true of first guys on the scene. He is going on info from the 911 operator which may at time be hyperbole or misconstrued.
