I was going to call BS until I looked up that it was a 2000 release.
I feel as confused about the pace of time as the time I learned that Cleopatra lived closer to the moon landing than the building of the Great Pyramid.

What really blew my mind was when I was a kid, watching black and white world war 2 clips, I thought that was in another world eleventy billion years ago impossibly ancient from an incomprehensible culture. Then one day I realized it was only 20 years before I was born. Like thinking back to Y2k, though those were better times before we were infected with moronials
You’re right: it really is a mind-bender that Cleopatra lived closer to the Moon Landings than the building of the Pyramids.
The Great Pyramid was built in 2560 BC. Classical Antiquity lasted from ~8th Century BC through ~6th Century BC. Cleopatra lived from 69-30 BC. We’re living in 2020.
The Pyramids were ~1700 years old before Classical Antiquity began. Alexander the Great lived from 356-323 BC—roughly 300 years before Cleopatra. His life was lived closer in time to the building of the Pyramids, but as close to midway between that event and landing on the moon as can be conveniently remembered.
The Great Pyramid was the tallest man-structures until ~1311 AD. It stood 3800 years before anything else was built that could stand taller! And it may still be the largest single structure by volume.
More than 4500 years old (thats over four millennia!), largely intact, and it still casts a shadow across the span of history!
Yes she was at the tail end of the rather long era wasnt she....her son was victim of better there arent too many caesars
