Can’t wait for Collin to be shown the door. You don’t defy the President when he has directed bygones to be bygones.

Not surprised he’s out. Well, uh... bye!

Fire Admirals Greene and Gilday next. These ppl need to be reminded that the military is run by our elected civilian leaders, not the military brass. This was one of the primary and consistent lessons drilled into me at USAFA.

“You want to go around your boss and try to cut a deal?

Why don’t you go around to the exit gate and see if you can get a job cutting grass.”

There are consequences for disobeying the Commander in Chief. The military is not a democracy.

Not sure of the details here, but it seems the Navy chief wanted to discipline Gallagher at all costs and was offering Trump to allow Gallagher to keep his Trident but take some form of punishment. Unfortunately for the Navy chief, he lied to his boss, SECDEF, about it all.

Great news! I just saw a headline that said “Trump backs down” and will not “interfere” in Gallagher case, and it made me really upset. But it looks like maybe he’s handling this through the channels.

He needs to do this, because if the military thinks it’s on its own and can oppose the CIC...well, that way lies tyranny.

Stupid move on Spencer’s part. Never bypass the boss and make him look stupid, never jump the chain of command.

Well Admiral, talking trash about the CIC will get you a quick retirement or a job driving a Navy garbage scow ... take your pick Obama butt boy.

Seems like Sec. Spencer choose this hill to die on. Why was this so important, in the general scheme of things?

One less Obama “transformational” Navy Officer in our Navy.

Good for PDJT, and thank you Mr. Gallagher for one more completed task.

Perhaps now our Deck Watch will be issued a lot more live ammo aboard our vessels when in port abroad.

Interesting. It seems SECDEF is firing SECNAV for going around him, keeping him in the dark while he tried his backdoor negotiation with WH staff. SECNAV was hoping to give the illusion that Admiral Green was able to oppose Trump and disobey his orders, while in reality, the board was to be a kangaroo court. That is NOT acceptable.

super excited to hear this but, someone correct me if I’m wrong about Esper; originally I thought he was pushing back on trump wanting to pardon those 3 soldiers and he only asked for the resignation after finding out the guy lied.

I think esper’s a good guy and I know he’s a classmate of Pompeo but I just recall reading he wasn’t for the pardon
