Two (!) polls find black approval of Trump at 34%
American Thinker ^ | 11/25/2019 | Thomas Lifson

One poll could be an outlier, but when two resected polls find the same outcome, it’s time to realize that, most likely, something serious is going on.

Rasmussen, whose own daily tracking poll revealed that 34% of black likely voters support President Trump, was initially cautious about interpreting that result, as this response to a tweet by Dineen Borelli shows:

So when Mrs. @deneenborelli - a friend & an engaged supporter of @realDonaldTrump today presents a snapshot of our privacy-focused daily likely voter results, please remember, not all survey samples & collection techniques are equal or comparable. (Remember Nov 9th 2016?)

— Rasmussen Reports (@Rasmussen_Poll) November 23, 2019

But then another tweet within the hour contained the news that the Emerson poll revealed black support at 34.5%:

Our Twitter Follower Roee spotted this from the Emerson College poll just out.

It apparently indicates current Black Registered Voter Approval for @POTUS at 34.5%. https://t.co/nS9rw0ATCc
— Rasmussen Reports (@Rasmussen_Poll) November 23, 2019

Now, expressing support to a pollster is not the same thing as voting, but President Trump and the GOP don’t need  more than a third of the black vote to win, and win decisively.  If only half of that 34% of blacks vote for Trump it would devastate the Democrats’ candidate. Democrat victories in this evenly divided nation depend on both high black turnout and high black support. Hillary Clinton’s failure to drive both elements of black support to the levels Barack Obama enjoyed was a major cause of her defeat.

If Buttigieg or Bloomberg were the candidates, it would cement the findings of the above polls.

I predict there will be tons of black Churches set on fire and mass shootings in the spring and summer

False flags will be real in 2020. That’s basically what they have left now. That and assassinations.

This is INSANELY good news

It puts into play states that I’ve long thought were PERMANENTLY blue.

From the usual 5 percent support among blacks to 34?!!?

Hispanics from 26 to now at 40 percent?!?!

There is NO PATH to the white house (besides cheating and fraud) at this rate for dems.

You’ve been posting some great threads lately :)

And even the threads with bad news has to be posted. It’s not like you wrote them :)

Good to have as much news as possible to know what’s going on out there.

ciao

This is good news, but, pessimist that I am, I’ll take it with a grain of salt. I don’t disagree that Mr. Trump is doing better with black voters than previous Republicans, but I won’t pop the champagne until we see an election with over 15% black voter support.

That said, none of this year’s leading Democrat candidates seem to be getting Black voters excited. Which is good.

Except for the voter fraud in those deep blue places

for the people who would do such things, and they are a relatively small group, the circle is growing smaller, and the ice is getting thinner.

So HUGH! Democrats used to care about jobs. But not anymore. You can’t continue to assume Black support when you don’t prioritize job growth.

And it’s often forgotten that opinions in both the African American community AND the Hispanic population are MORE CONSERVATIVE THAN WHITES on social issues.

DRIVE this train!

if Trump gets 20% it’s over. Blacks are sensitive to unfair treatment. Any objective view of the Rats in this impeachment circus would see how unfair it has been. This poll may be reflecting that. I still don’t see more the 2-5% with Black women they are just lost.

Donald Trump doesn’t write off the 47%, like Romney does, he seeks their support and isn’t condescending. He is remaking the Republican conservative coalition.

I agree.

Maybe they’ll get to 8 percent this time.

but the black men are the ones changing in large numbers

So, your saying the Dems are right in the race.

Hispanics have a natural fit with Republicans... and black men ... I doubt we’ll ever get the radical black woman vote.

The conservative need to educate the ethnic minorities.

If I were a black person I couldnt vote for any democrat because of their history.I.E. the campaign slogan for the 1868 election-Its a white mans country, let the white man rule!
That is what the democrat campaign slogan was. Believe it.

If I were a Jewish person, I couldnt vote for any democrat since they are the New National Socialist Democrat party of America. And like the old German National Socialist party, this “New” socialist party intends on the same as the old.

Yet both of these ethnic groups vote for Democrats en mass. Why? Because of the love of money and “free” things.

black Americans are (largely) tired of being treated like plantation slaves by the Democratic party machine

and they realize that PDJT’s policies are opening up a whole lot of economic opportunities for all Americans, INCLUDING black people

Yes, I commented on this on a couple of twitter threads.

Way too high, but the trend is in keeping with Harris X and Morning Consult, all showing Trump between 16% approval and 26% approval. I wouldn’t just “average these out.” I think the real approval is around 20%.

That doesn’t mean Trump will get 20% of the black vote. I think he will get half that 10%-11%, or 2-3 points higher than in 2016 . . . BUT there will be an additional 3-5% on top of that who will stay home, making his “effective” black vote 11.5-14%.
