I just read an article from last summer also saying that he planned to retire, so that part isn’t anything new. The firing, though, ABOUT TIME!

Ok, it is a bit crude to pose with a dead terrorists body..I get that.

To be involved in war is to exist in a different world. No one who has not been there can possibly understand what that world is like.

The normal world's rules apply only loosely to the world of war.

Cut these warriors a LOT of slack. We ask them to enter that nightmare world and kill and maim in our name. Like it or not we are all responsible for what they do to cope...some fail at coping and end up as suicides.

We sleep soundly in our beds because hard men such as these stand ever ready to kill for us.

We can never adequately pay them for the things they do for us all...thank God that such men exist.

I think we learned a lot about the Navy JAG corps.

Puts a different complexion on A Few Good Men...

Giving themselves medals, going after a victim who "got away", intimidating the Naval Special Warfare commander - all in a day's work.

The man was acquitted on the serious stuff. All things considered, if the man wanted to continue in the Navy, the remaining infraction could be handled administratively. But, since he’s retiring, it ain’t no thing.

He has a wife and three kids. He's missed substantial portions of their lives serving our nation. Selflessly.

In a fair world the shadow government cockroaches would be hanging from an overpass.

Admiral Green needs to turn in his scrambled egg hat and get on with his life's work of grifting for the beltway bandits.

Spencer and the admiral both threw shade on the President and only one is gone.

Why is the brass still on active duty when he clearly defied the President?

but was convicted of posing with the corpse.

Guess those folks had never heard of or seen any footage from WW2 or the Korean War or Vietnam!

It was sooooooo right the Secretary of the Navy was fired.

Gallagher was retiring anyway.

But the Secretary of the Navy, with the treasonous JAG community behind his back, wanted to make an example of Gallagher before he retired.

The “legal” community in each of the services have taken hold of each of them, and many of the bad things in the last ten years have happened due to commanders satisfying what the service lawyers want them to do. Just what Obama wanted.

The problem in the military is the same problem in the civilian world - too many Leftist lawyers.

I’d love to see Pres. Trump appoint him to some senior position, maybe Navy Secretary. That would be sweet revenge. But probably not kind to Gallagher.

When we caught German Troops wearing US Army Uniforms on the Battlefield during WWII they were Interrogated and Shot on the spot.

Now posing for a Camera Phone Picture with a dead Terrorist Son of a Bitch can ruin someone’s Life, a person who put their own Life on the line for our Nation?

Too bad there isn’t a picture of Conan squatting and relieving herself over the remains (pieces) of the ISIS guy she went after.

We live in interesting times.
