Media Propaganda About Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s Health Is Irresponsible
The Federalist ^ | November 25, 2019 | Joy Pullmann

Posted on 11/27/2019 7:39:26 PM PST by fwdude

While CNN devoted all this to one news story about a top political figure’s [Trump] unannounced doctor visit, corporate media outlets in general have been busy sending the opposite messaging about a litany of health difficulties for Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The 86-year-old Ginsburg was admitted to the hospital on Friday with “chills and fever.” The Supreme Court’s oldest justice went home Sunday, according to CBS’s Jan Crawford.

The reports on her illness from CNN, USA Today, Bloomberg, and The New York Times were routine writeups of the press statements Crawford posted. Instead of 2,000 words of probing about the “mystery” behind Ginsburg’s series of recent ailments, CNN Supreme Court reporter Ariane de Vogue pointed out evidence of Ginsburg’s vigor, such as her participation the same day she was hospitalized in an “important” Supreme Court conference.

It’s safe to say the RBG is in extreme fragile condition. She’s convinced herself to drag this out in hopes that the President in 2021 will be a Democrat. You can probably anticipate at least one visit per month to a hospital that requires three to seven days of care, from this point on.

If she were just somebody’s grandma, she’d be in hospice care by now.

This is nothing. How about the health problems suffered by Bill Clinton’s wife?

Just like how the media was all over the health issues of Elijah Cummings, too.

I get tired of all the uninformed comments about her health. Hopefully, if she was somebody’s grandma (is she?) Then she wouldn’t be in hospice unless she wanted to be there. My grandmother lived to 101, she survived cancer and at age 86 she (and grandpa) had more years ahead of independent living.

I’d like Trump to appoint more justices, but there is no provision to force RBG off the court.

Hospice, even palliative care, aren't synonymous with any specific predicted end of life date. The care plans are about a reality that there is a thing medicine knows will kill you and what you'll do to address that. Patients can still get medical treatment, and depending upon their care plan, have surgery, recover from a temporary illness, and continue life for years. HIPAA rules can obscure the announcement of this fact if the patient doesn't want to advertise it, or it can until there's a republican supreme Court Justice in hospice care, then a constitutional amendment will be passed in moments.

Whatever her condition, the rules are what they are. A supreme Court appointment is for life unless vacated. RBG may be a fighter or a bitter ender ideologue, but she has no obligation to be different. I hope that she is at least at peace with the choices she has made.

I legitimately wondered what her issue is/was.
She would just lock up.
I’ve never seen that before.

I CANT BELIEVE we still have gentleman losers on this board after 3 years of Trump.

How’d the aborted babies get treated right before they died?

People won’t block an abortion clinic’s doors but they’ll bitch about not enough respect being shown to an OLD, ROTTEN TO THE BONE, EVIL baby killer.

#### her.

I’ll open a special body the day she ####ing drops dead.

We should all be about praying for her health; the Lord would not want it any other way. That aside, she has Pancreatic cancer, survival rate is the worst of any form of cancer and short to boot.

I wish Mrs. Ginsberg long health and life. She has been a jurist of extreme intellect but was and is a political activist that has no respect for The Constitution that she knows well in the extreme. That Constitution she swore to protect and defend, she did not do this.

I wish her no ill will on a personal basis. I will not mourn her passing with the exception of the grief to her family.

Oddly she was a great personal friend of the late and great Anthony Scalia. I wish I could have been privy to those conversations. Those conversations will never be known and that is as it should be.

The world will be a much better place when she dies.

Her death will be a blessing from GOD to help liberate America and I will praise him for it.

Wow, no kidding.

Lock-ups, saw that in damn near real-time (shortly afterwards via a video posting) that day at the 9/11 event (we were lucky somebody recorded that!) ... the mouth agape at the convention when the balloons were dropped and that weird head-movement she made answering a female reporter’s question are the three events I remember.

Trump was elected within the rules by a contitutionally understood process that at every turn the nevertrump republicans and Democrats tried to, and continue to try to game in their favor. I remain committed to the system and its rules, however flawed it may be and even if the results don't favor my worldview. Let the commies get in trouble for coloring outside the lines, I'm not about to be weighing which type of lawbreaker I should be.
