Agreed. The problem is that we always try to go in as liberators and not conquerors. Then they rely on us for rebuilding their infrastructure and maintaining their security. It would be best to go in, annihilate everything (scorched Earth), then vacate and let the survivors rebuild. That way we don’t drain the treasury and keep losing the patriots.
