Remember, Nadler didn't get the original call to run the impeachment inquiry out of the Judiciary Committee because he screwed up the Mueller Report sideshow so badly by having Mueller testify. Epic disaster fail when Mueller looked like he didn't write his own report and couldn't recalll most of what was in it.
That's why Pelosi gave the nod to Schitt-For-Brains in the Intelligence Committee to initiate the impeachment process. But his fake phantom whistleblower and star chamber super secret closed hearings in the basement of the capitol building put a stench on the process right away. Then he tried public hearings for 5 days but kept the same tight, controlling rules as before. Result: Another epic fail where polls started shifting in favor of Trump.
Trump shouldn't do anything with these House circuses. The full House hasn't even voted to approve having these inquiries. Why should he lower himself to their phony baloney standards.
Trump would be adding legitimacy to this clown show if he showed up to defend himself and he should ignore Nadler. He hasn't even been charged with anything so why show up to defend himself against something he didn't do?
Fat Nads has already started off on the wrong foot, by alleging obstruction of justice that Mueller cleared Trump of. He will continue to overreach and screw this impeachment witch hunt up too.
Trump needs to keep his powder dry if, and until, this mess gets sent to the Senate for trial. Then he can destroy them. There's still a good chance there won't be any articles of impeachment voted on in the House before this is over with. Moderate democRATS up for reelection in red states that voted for Trump are already seeing blowback because of this sh*tshow.

The President is Co-Equal to the entire House of Nancy and Rinotown Senate. Any constitutional actio n like Impeaching High Crimes and Misdemeanors should be dealt with from that perspective, including Due Process and Rights of the Accused. (Also he holds full powers and responsibilities over foreign policy matters, is Comma der in Chief, heads the CIA, NSA, FBI, DOJ and can do whatever he needs to with them. Barry and Elvis did. Elections have Consequences).
