The very fact that NY’ers need the city government’s permission to even own a firearm is the first attack on the Second Amendment. The fact that they now cannot tramsport them in and out of the city is another.

Not just the city - state. The police called looking for me when my NYS handgun permit expired in the early aughts and that I needed to come into the station and “surrender my weapon”. I told them I moved out of state, and they said to have a nice day.
