This country needs a complete reform of Tort laws.
Then, alot of items will cost less.
The Dems are smart in that they pick one single issue that resonates with the public and they then focus like a laser on that issue. They did that in 2018 with keeping Obama’s subsidized healthcare available for everyone. Now they are focusing on the Big Pharma issue. In Colorado, they are CONTINUALLY running ads against Cory Gardner on this one issue. It’s all the only issue that the Dems have and they are going to ride it at far as they can.
He loudly proclaimed that he stood with Governor DeSantis; Florida ought to be allowed to buy their Rx drugs from Canada.

Somebody is giving Trump bum advice. Canadians can get cheaper drugs only if they can find a way to get a free ride off of American companies bearing the cost of developing drugs that are still under patent. They get their free ride by price controls that force American companies either (1) to sell to Canadian companies at reduced prices or (2) to refuse to sell to them at all. If they choose (2), they will forgo any profit at all and risk media condemnation for being greedy; so they cave, and eventually some of the reduced price drugs are re-exported to the USA, to the applause of whoever is advising Trump.
