Why does it seem take 3-4 people for the NYT to write their silly little articles.
____________
One to receive leaks, one to write a creative interpretation, one who can do spell check, another to proof grammar.

No, a lot more. You forgot propaganda, sedition, willful ignorance, chutzpah, and a few others. Walter Duranty lives on...

Trump is the chain.

Trump is the only man left we can trust in DC

What’s that supposed to mean? Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING Trump has proclaimed has turned out to be true or closer to the truth than what’s reported.

Trump cannot overrule thr chain of command... he is the top of the chain of command.

The military answers to an elected civilian, that is by design and intent.

The military does not TOLERATE that, that is how it is... if they refuse to accept that then we are talking treason.

The basis of this article shows complete lack of understanding of the very nature of the US military and government.

Whether or not you like the commander in chief or agree with him, he is in charge, period.

It means he’s smart to not trust the generals and admirals that Obama shuffled into place.

Once someone reaches flag officer rank they’re basically political appointees. Obama stacked the senior leadership of the military with sycophants and that’s what Trump’s dealing with now. It’s going to take a while to get those guys out of there and have some responsible leadership flow up through the ranks.

“Tests Pentagon’s Tolerance?”

So we don’t have a representative republic, we have a military dictatorship?

Time for the hangings to begin.

“Mr. Trump overruled the chain of command “

Somehow now that Trump is the president, every single dept. of government that the president traditionally ruled over is somehow now subject to strict autonomy.

Army generals complained about Lincoln pardoning deserters, Confederate sympathizers and other offenders too. Nothing new. Lincoln it is believed personally reviewed over 1600 military cases and overturned numerous sentences including the death penalty.

You are very correct. The kenyan from indionesia has screwed up our military. It took awhile to get true patriots in command in WW2 , then we whipped two empires a t once.
In Korea the patriots had been removed. A lot of good men were sacrifised under those rules of engagement. The same thing happened in Vietnam ?

The Pentagon’s tolerance? The President of the United States is the Commander-in-chief. It is the Pentagon’s job to provide information and recommendations to their C-in-C and then to obey their orders. “Tolerance” is an absurd word for the only proper response to the decision from their civilian leader. I would have been offended if any senior military officer had used that word with Barack Hussein, and the usurper wasn’t even eligible for the position he occupied.

That’s what I think as well. In fact, go back through the last three years and you could probably find other instances of leftists expressing such.

Tolerance is the wrong word. Obedience to authority is the correct expression. Intolerance of authority is punishable by a firing squad, among other remedies.
