However, by telling your story, you can probably convince some people not to do what you did. Given the extremely high transsexual suicide rate, you might save some lives.

For the doctors doing this it’s a double win: they get paid AND they get virtue signaling credit about how open minded they are. The needs of the patient aren’t really a factor in that equation.
