Impeachment Motivations Part 2 – Hiding Links to Corruption

“The Democrats doth protest too much, methinks.”
Hamlet. Act III, Scene II. 2019 adaptation.

Nancy Pelosi’s dramatic tone was planned and well-rehearsed. “No one is above the law,” she said. The Speaker also said, “No one comes to Congress to impeach the President of the United States.” That was a blatant lie, but Pelosi was obfuscating, as usual. She held a vote to move forward on impeachment hearings without even reviewing the documents she was referencing as the reason to do so.

It was weird. How can a Speaker of the House be so devoid of intellectual honesty? Wait. Never mind. This is the same woman who said we needed to pass the Obamacare bill before we could see what was in it.

Equally weird was Adam Schiff going completely off the rails reading a wildly fabricated transcript, and then being called out a few days later by left-wing media personalities for deciding to move forward with impeachment hearings without waiting to see official documents. Schiff told them, “There’s no reason to wait. This doesn’t depend on what the transcript says. What the President has already admitted was all we needed to know …” Then Schiff spewed lie after lie, appearing to quote Trump, but using words Trump never used.

Can these people have any less intellectual honesty?

As Rush often says, "follow the money".

By the way, the transcript used the name Ivanovich, but there are no records of any Ambassador Ivanovich. However, Marie Yovanovich was appointed by Obama to serve as ambassador to Ukraine in 2016, and she was there until Trump removed her this past May.

Question: The people who wrote and subsequently edited the transcript knew full well the ambassador’s name. Might they have purposefully misspelled it to avoid drawing attention to her? If so, why?

“I opened this column talking about Pelosi, and I close with talking about her, too. My question is this: Other than partisan reasons, why would Pelosi be so quick call for impeachment when she has previously said impeachment was a bad idea?” https://t.co/RjtAnamQbD— Tracy Beanz (@tracybeanz) December 3, 2019

CIRCA 2016-- Rep. Nancy Pelosi: ‘I guarantee it,’ Trump won't be president...."Take it to the bank."
By Eric Johnson, May 16, 2016, 6:30am EDT
https://www.vox.com/2016/5/16/11679242/nancy-pelosi-trump-guarantee-kara-swisher-podcast

"Donald Trump is not going to be President of the United States," Pelosi said on the latest episode of Recode Decode, hosted by Kara Swisher. "Take it to the bank, I guarantee it." (video at web site)

She said that she is urging her Republican friends to "take back your party." In response to the proposal that Trump uses social media better than other politicians, Pelosi blamed ratings-hungry media outlets for amplifying his visibility.

"Social media has democratized elections even further," she added. "People hear things that may or may not be true, but nonetheless, the democratization of communication is good for a democracy."

She also discussed the second iteration of the Innovation Agenda, a Congressional effort to defend America's economic interests by working with and learning from tech businesses. And Pelosi confirmed that, for related reasons, she sides with Apple and its allies in the recent encryption battle against the FBI. "If we don’t sell our products overseas and be pre-eminent, we will not be as secure," she said. "I think the Apple argument, 'no back door,' is the security argument. If we open it up, who’s going to buy our technology?"

Comprehensive immigration reform was the only plank of the first Innovation Agenda, in 2005, that did not receive Congressional action. Pelosi praised President Bush as having made a valiant effort at reform and suggested that no reform will happen unless the people afraid of immigrants taking their jobs are placated first.

"If you want to pass an immigration bill, pass a big jobs bill first," she said. "In their minds, an immigrant took their jobs — which they didn’t. When the economy is doing well is when we should be trying to pass this kind of legislation."

The latest talking point is that anyone wanting to investigate the Ukrainian role in the 2016 election is pushing Russian disinformation and is a Russian asset.

If the Ukrainians weren't conspiring with Hillary in 2016, why not have the investigation and clear the matter up? Just like wanting Hunter Biden investigated shouldn't be a problem if he is innocent...it would just remove an unjustified suspicion.

The evidence of ComDem graft and corruption in the Ukraine and elsewhere is there. Period.

They know it is indefensible. And that Soros backed much of the effort.

Expose em all.

NOW!

It's like with the "Muslim ban" and the fake narrative about Charlottesville...they just repeat the lie over and over and expect most of the public to accept it as fact.

All spelled out by that Austrian socialist, Adolf Schickelgruber.

Totally agree.

It makes me very angry everything I think about it. And it is continually lied about by the bought idiots in the media.

I loath them all for it.
