Makes you wonder if Americans were always slimy liars and cheaters and the Internet has simply shinned a bright spotlight on them exposing the worst of humanity that always existed. It is hard to believe that it is true. But it was a very recent mainstream idea that America is evil and Americans are bad.
Being proud to be American was what bound us across the broad spectrum of political beliefs.
