That’s interesting. Everybody I know just listens to podcasts and streaming music on their smartphones for free. Which trend do you think will increase over time?
Sirius is in all new cars these days, and most new car owners get a free trial period to try it out. They recently bought out Pandora, and are thus involved in the streaming side of things. I am listening right now to Sirius online. This used to cost extra, but after the Pandora acquisition, it became part of the standard packages.
Of course, that does not mean anyone is going to pay extra to hear Howard Stern.
