This is starting to look like a set-up for Jerry the Hut to take the blame for a failed vote, letting the rest off the hook.
Jerry might have been able to swing some media message back in the 1980s/1990s with a marginal effort. Between the Republicans on his committee, the social media circle, and common knowledge of Republican voters...he’s hauling a truckload of ‘feathers’, and there’s no real way to gain traction with the public.
Gaetz pretty much wiped out anything of value on Monday. The wannabe academic pretender scholars looked like 5th-grade kids at the end.
If Jerry croaks on national TV, that will be the Democrat (New Puritan) party opportunity to lecture us on the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
So, Jerry, do it at home in your bed, please...not on national TV.
