When someone says, ‘this isn’t going to hurt’ - it’s going to hurt.
When someone says, “You can trust me” you can’t. Honest people don’t have to say it.
That is a GIANT red flag to me.
As soon as a contractor I am talking to about a job says “Don’t worry you can trust me” he is out of the running.
Mostly because every time someone said that, they turned out to be scumbag liars.
Honest people never think they have to tell others “you can trust me”
