She also posted a picture of herself sitting on the couch with the caption: "Me waiting on the haters to apologize after we were proven right on Amazon and saved the public billions."

She doesn't know how to create one job but I hear she makes a mean White Russian.

“””However, it was reported Friday that Amazon was leasing a 335,000-square-foot office space in Manhattan that is set to bring more than 1,500 jobs into the city. “””””

So 1500 clerical jobs will be brought into one of the most crowded cities in the country. Well done.

I hope she goes away.

I know it’s fun to see her make a public idiot of herself on behalf of the Democratic party.

But she’s involved in making decisions that impact our lives.

Enough “you go, girl” cr*p. Let’s elect competent people, shall we?

my state and local government has given tax breaks and incentives to large companies to place local facilities in the area. Notable the city bent over to bring a Cabela’s. Cabela’s was delinquent on many of the deals requirements for years. store to the area. Very few of them live up to the job creation they were sold on. I have mixed emotions about these types of deals.

So, instead of 25,000 jobs, only 1,500 jobs are going to NYC.

Also, I would agree on principle that politicians should not offer financial incentives to any business to relocate into their jurisdiction. The fact that they do so reflects that they maintain business-unfriendly policies, which they rescind to create incentives for certain businesses. The correct remedy to this is to overturn the business-killing taxes and regulations so as to make the area more attractive to all businesses, not just the ones who promise kick-backs to the politicians.

Of course, AOC is too dim to figure that out. Her motivation was purely anti-business and anti-jobs. The reason she opposed Amazon’s move into NYC was that Amazon was going to offer very nice wages, which would somehow be unfair to other New Yorkers who would not be receiving such nice wages. It had nothing to do with what she is now claiming.

She thinks 1,500 is larger than 25,000.

How could she ever go away when she is the leader of the party and the most popular and bringing in more money than Pelosi and no Dem will dare run against her?
