AIDS could have been contained forty years ago. All that was necessary was to isolate the vector.
But instead homosexuals were encouraged to spread through society rather than quarantined.
The commercials about AIDS meds, you’d think it was the safest most normal lifestyle in existence :)
And Nary an image to be found of the HORRORS of getting AIDS.

It’s a shame we haven’t thought of a simple method for preventing the spread of AIDS. I suppose that some medical questions are just too complex to be solved.
