It is time to name the year’s top member of Congress.
For 2019, the winner is a woman who also stars in the political picture of the year.
Take a look at Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) in a sea of men, literally standing up to President Trump at the White House.
On that day, she pointedly reminded him that a majority of House Republicans joined her Democratic caucus in voting to condemn him for pulling troops out of Syria.
The picture was so powerful that the White House released it and in act of pure spin described it as proof of Pelosi having an “unhinged meltdown.”

I expelled a Juan this morning, like I do every morning.

Pelosi is a politician alright. That’s about the worst thing you could say about anyone, because it insinuates whoring yourself for money and power.
You’re giving WAY to much credit.
So Juan is delighted that Nancy, and most of congress, jumped the gun and faulted President Trump on a decision that they did not understand. As it has played out, everyone who engaged in hand-wringing has been proven to be over wraught.
Gee Juan, I don’t think it is wise to suck up to politicians who criticized the president for pulling troops out of Syria on the day we learned that for 18 years the government lied to us about the war in Afghanistan. But, that’s just me Juan.

Soft-headed Juan just keeps getting dumber and dumber as the years go by. At least he’s consistent that way.
Pelosi still (and probably always) has a case of the sore red baboon butt over getting her little gov funded family vacation cancelled during a gov shutdown. I don’t think her face ever retreated from that beet red color from her intense anger and embarrassment over that.
