Lined with gold? Gee, and all of these years I thought the cap stone on top of the Great Pyramid was white limestone. The limestone would reflect the sunshine for many miles.
Ive read two books about the mysteries of pyramids and both suggested the body of the pyramids were limestone and the capstone was gold plated. Both obviously shine bright

You are both right about the great Pyramid. The Cap Stone was layered with gold, and the whole Pyramid from the bottom to the Cap Stone on all eight sides was indeed cased with polished limestone. Together it must have been quite a sight with the sun shining on it.
