No such thing a “Obstruction of Congress”. That is a completely fraudulent charge with utterly no merit what so ever. This PDF is merely a pathetic attempt to conflate “Obstruction of Justice” into a completely made up new charge of “Obstruction of Congress”.
The Executive is a Co Equal Branch of Govt. Basically the Democrats are trying to manufacture a scheme that Congress has some sort of mythical super authority over our Government.
Based on this ridiculous claim they could impeach Supreme Court Justices any time they over turned a Congressional act. By ruling against the act of Congress the Justices would be guilty of this mythical “Obstruction of Congress”

The obstruction of Congress by the President was accomplished to counter obstruction of governance.

For the entire term to date, various Democrat entities including the Congress, the various Obama holdover swamp creatures, the federal judges and courts of appeals and the media are all guilty of obstruction of governance.

Obstruction of Governance is sedition and a capital crime in the worst cases

We know there is no such thing as Obstruction of Congress, but the majority of the population is not aware of this. Hopefully our President will discuss this at the rally!

I haven’t had the time to read it, but that was my initial opinion to based on the few news reports I’ve read. Obstruction of Congress is not a thing it is simply a made up charge because none of their other supposed evidence, that the They have tried to find it in past weeks such as quid pro quo, bribery, extortion etc. Has come through for that.

Very well expressed, MNJohnnie. I’ve thought the same thing for quite a while. This is nothing more than Congress trying to assert supremacy over the Executive branch and use their completely made-up-out-of-whole-cloth bogus charges to influence the 2020 election in their favor.

If the Dems can claim “Obstruction of Congress,” then why can’t the President turn the tables and claim “Obstruction of the President of the United States”? What’s sauce for the goose...

Sacajaweau posted a pdf describing Obstruction of Congress that was published by the Congressional Research Service.

Here is the actual statute, 18 USC Part I Chapt 73 Sec 1505:

https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/USCODE-2011-title18/pdf/USCODE-2011-title18-partI-chap73-sec1505.pdf

§ 1505. Obstruction of proceedings before departments, agencies, and committees

Whoever, with intent to avoid, evade, prevent, or obstruct compliance, in whole or in part, with any civil investigative demand duly and properly made under the Antitrust Civil Process Act, willfully withholds, misrepresents, removes from any place, conceals, covers up, destroys, mutilates, alters, or by other means falsifies any documentary material, answers to written interrogatories, or oral testimony, which is the subject of such demand; or attempts to do so or solicits another to do so; or

Whoever corruptly, or by threats or force, or by any threatening letter or communication influences, obstructs, or impedes or endeavors to influence, obstruct, or impede the due and proper administration of the law under which any pending proceeding is being had before any department or agency of the United States, or the due and proper exercise of the power of inquiry under which any inquiry or investigation is being had by either House, or any committee of either House or any joint committee of the Congress—

Shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 5 years or, if the offense involves international or domestic terrorism (as defined in section 2331), imprisoned not more than 8 years, or both.

The President has the right to obstruct Congress all day long, every frigging day, and twice on Sunday...
