He doesn’t have to “chicken out”. The Dems dropped the impeachment charge of bribery, which would have given the Senate an open door to pull both Bidens in to testify. Since the charges are all unrelated to what Biden did with his son (and the quid pro quo that Pelosi also did with her son) there’s nothing to supena him on.
