I stopped by a local convenience store to gas up. When I went in to pay, a woman was paying over $200 for several cartons of cigarettes.

Wow, I'm old. When I was a kid, my Dad would send me to the local grocery store and I'd pay $2 to get him a carton of cigarettes. No problem for a 10-year-old kid to buy them from the clerk. I'm old!

When my Mother was a little girl, her Father would give her a dime and have her walk to the store, 3 miles away to get him some chewing tobacco.

I remember when the general store in Georgia had a note from my aunt on file allowing me to buy booze. I was 16. I’m old too.
