I read this last weekend. This guy is a definite candidate and was justly separated from his guns. What I’d like to know is why he wasn’t in jail to begin with after spraying his friend and car with gun fire.

What I’d like to know is why he wasn’t in jail to begin with after spraying his friend and car with gun fire. Seems like the state is using this new law as a tool to selectively clean up behind its own questionable practices.

Rather then using the legal means that has been in place for hundreds of years. Showing he has lost his mind they want to use these cases as test cases. Or maybe they're far easier to implement then the old system?

Exactly. He should be up on charges for shooting up his buddy’s car. After he might be convicted, the usual procedure would be intact to see to it no one sells him a gun.
But then again, I think any man who can walk around free should be allowed to carry a gun. If he can’t be trusted to carry a gun, he should not be walking around free.
