We live in a post-Clinton, post-Bush, post-Obama era. The Progressive viewpoint is the Establishment viewpoint. A lot of young people want to be "cool" and rebel. They want to "speak truth to power". They want to be part of the counter-culture.
But they are not. They are supporting the Establishment and they are just nodding their heads in agreement whenever some established Progressive tells them how they ought to think about something.
The only real counter-cultural people around today are Christian Conservatives. You know: like Trump.

A huge number of college students today are totally screwed up in the head. I’m betting that it is because of the conflict with what they know to be true, and what they have been forced to believe by the colleges.
