I’ll get a lot of flak, but we shouldn’t be there. World police is not our responsibility. Israel can do what they want.

Hopefully “continue to exist” is included in that particular calculus. Obviously, I can’t speak for you, but an inordinate number of times I’ve heard that particular statement, it tends to mean something other than it would normally appear.
“We” aren’t there, are we? I don’t think many would support involving ourselves there.
Not sure how Trump (or any other president ftm) can on the one hand say America needs to get out of the blood soaked Middle East and let its occupants who’ve been fighting each other for thousands of years work their conflicts out among themselves; then on the other hand say America needs to safeguard Israel against other hostile Middle Eastern nations. The two ideas are, on their face, incompatible.
