Democrats insist that Voter ID is voter suppression, not having a polling place every 4 feet is voter suppression, and black voter outreach?
You betcha that's voter suppression.
Yet some Democrats are concerned. While Trump is unlikely to receive substantial black support, they worry his outreach could dissuade African Americans from turning out in force for the Democratic candidate. For some Democrats, the prospect brings back nightmares of 2016, when Hillary Clinton failed to turn out voters in heavily black Detroit, paving the way for Trump’s upset victory in Michigan.
“The end goal is to create doubt in the minds of black voters, doubt about the Democratic Party and doubts about the Democratic nominee,” said Adrianne Shropshire, executive director of Black PAC, a super PAC aimed at mobilizing black voters. “It really is about suppressing the black vote more than it is about bringing black voters out to support Trump.”
If you're following the logic here...
1. Trump is trying to pick up black voters
2. This will divert black votes from Democrats
3. Anything that diverts black votes from Democrats is voter suppression
Just so we're clear that this is now the official definition of voter suppression. The Democrat failure to suppress black voters is defined as voter suppression.
Democrats need to keep blacks on the plantation.
If they leave, the Democrat Party is finished. At all costs, they will make sure they stay in the Democrat column.
The last thing on earth they want is to be surprised like Labour was in the UK.

The democrats have been angry since republicans freed their slaves. They’re getting even angrier now that President Trump is threatening to completely eliminate their control over the decisions black Americans are allowed to make.
The Democrats need the blacks to stay home so they can rig the election and only have paid voters showing up to the polls.

Not sure what they mean. As I remember 2016, they were finding more votes than people in the Jill Stein recounts, in Detroit. So you had turnout over 100% - that’s pretty damn good, at least in my opinion.

The article seems to not be saying that Trump is diverting Black votes to Trump, but that he is sowing confusion and discord, causing Black voters to just stay home and not vote. And that is, as they claim, voter suppression. As any Black voter actually gets to the polls, they naturally and ipso-facto, vote ‘Rat.
You laugh, but I bet Pelosi, Nadler, and Schiff are mad they never thought of that.
If 40-percent of blacks turn to Trump, it’s the end of the ‘big’ strategy for the Democrats over the past thirty years. They can’t win a presidential election with that big of a chunk not in their pocket. Go imagine trying to run a decent election in states like Ohio or Indiana, without 90-percent of black voters for the Democratic candidate.
Before I retired I worked in an office with majority black women. I remember how excited they were to vote for Obama. But when Hillary was running there was almost silence, as if there wasn’t even a presidential election.
it occurs to me, we need more uFO sightings. Life is too good and too many twitterheads have nothing to occupy themselves with except nitpicking life to death. Time to give them something else to freak out over. A deathstar or two auta do it. Who wants to pilot?

It wouldn’t take anywhere near 40% defection of the black vote to ruin the Democrat chances. Just about 15% would do the job handily.
If Trumps is sowing confusion and discord about the value of blacks supporting Democrats, when by all means continue and I find it hard to call that "voter suppression". The first step in getting people off the Democrat plantation is making them aware they are being used. That will confuse some at first, then they will take action.
The problem I have with any of this is are there white voters? Should we reach out to them? All this BS talk about how ‘race doesn’t matter’ is just that BS.

As so often is the case, Leftists use language differently than we’re used to. In this case “voter suppression” means “fewer votes for Democrats”, and they want to make not voting for a Democrat illegal.
