Five aides to Rep. Jeff Van Drew, D-N.J., have resigned after the congressman met with President Trump Saturday to discuss switching political parties.
"Sadly, Congressman Van Drew's decision to join the ranks of the Republican Party led by Donald Trump does not align with the values we brought to this job when we joined his office," the aides wrote in the Sunday letter addressed to Van Drew's chief of staff, Allison Murphy.
"Over the past year, Trump Republicans have sided with special interests over the needs of working people. Worse, they continue to aid and abet Trump as he shreds the Constitution and tears the country apart," the letter read. "They refused to grapple with how the President of the United States has jeopardized our national security for his own political advantage."

Van Drew should make sure their systems access and building access badges are immediately terminated.
Just reading that statement tells me it was written by some special interest PAC or media person. Normal people don’t write that way.
And working people keep supporting Trump! Those morons, don’t they know what’s good for them?
Well one would expect this wouldn’t they I mean WHY would democratic aides want to work for a republican WHY would this be news to anyone???

I suspected this. There is word he was getting a primary challenge on the left when he moved to the right. So if people were that unhinged in his state I was expecting some resignations from his staff.
Good. Now maybr he can hire some honest,realistic folks. The values they brought with them have nothing to do with truth, honesty and the American way.
Such as the teachers’ unions or big fat labor, or the high tech barons. Union of welfare recipients and social workers?
