Mitch McConnell just filed for cloture on 13 District judges

Posted on 12/16/2019 1:55:40 PM PST by cotton1706

There were 18 District judges on the floor.

The remaining 5 may be democrat-supported judges. If so, McConnell chose not to strike a deal with Schumer.

If all confirmed (likely), Trump will hace 185 judges confirmed.

This will be the President lasting legacy, along with totally ripping the facade of the lying Liberals and the scumbag media.

I have reservations about Senator McConnell but he does appear to be getting judges done pretty well.

I have not had time to review them all, but the few I’ve checked out look quite good, too.

Credit where due...

Let’s hope we get 4 more years of this, along with 5 new SC justices before 2024.

While the left wows the leftist media with their impotent made-for-tv coup, the great Senator Mitch McConnell makes them his beeyotch, as our great POTUS snickers in the background and the Dow closes at stratospheric highs. Gawd, I love this President!

McConnell has been a bulwark of conservatism on the judiciary. Even before Trump was elected, he stonewalled 0bama’s nomination of Merrick Garland, so that Trump could appoint Neil Gorsuch.

Garland’s nomination was part of a larger game plan for the democrats. Garland had NEVER voted to rule against ANY executive action while he was on the D.C. Court of Appeals. The plan was for Hillary Clinton to be President, and then have the democrats deliberately obstruct/block any legislation from Congress. Clinton would then say “Congress has failed to act, therefore I must act.” (The mantra of all dictators). Garland was intended to be her judicial rubber stamp along with the other liberal four.

McConnell took a lot of crap but bought the time for Trump’s victory to guarantee it wouldn’t happen.

You turned by day upside down! I was so disgusted by the USMCA inspectors poison pill & the impeachment doubling down but this is what really matters!

No reason for reservations. You will never agree with everything that someone does.

In the meantime, find a Dem to criticize.

You gotta love how McConnell answered Hannity’s question on why Obama left so many court vacancies unfilled. This is the only time McConnell ever made me laugh!

He also held up a lot of appeal and district court judges. That is why President Trump had so many openings when he assumed office.

These are the District Court judicial nominations on the floor that were not brought up for cloture today. At least one, Kness, seems to be an excellent candidate, a couple seem as though they might be compromises. It may be that there will be one more small batch for cloture later in the week.

Diane Gujarati, of New York (Originally appointed by Obama)

Philip M. Halpern, of New York (donated to both Democrats and Republicans recommended by Judge Pirro)

Barbara Bailey Jongbloed, of Connecticut (Democrat)

John Fitzgerald Kness, of Illinois (Federalist Society & NRA Member)

Robert Anthony Molloy, of the Virgin Islands 10 year appointment (Affiliation w/Obama)

You would think eventually Mitch is going be fed up with Schumers BS and just say bend over here it comes. Mitch is 77, what the hell does he have to lose? Start doing everything the way he’s done judges and take no prisoners.
