The alphabet networks tell us that news has gone down in quality since the days when there were only 3 major networks presenting the same daily talking points.
I was staying at a hotel this year that had OAN. It was like turning back the clock to when America was free again! It was simply news, dozens of stories from around the world that impact America.
It was wonderful. An hour of OAN had 10 times the content of fox and a tenth opinion.
Within a week the channel was on OAN till late night Tucker and Hanity. That was enough opinion for me.
Maybe that’s because, instead of having a hundred outlets, and only a few quality journalists, you had only a few of each. Too many choices. Nobody should have to choose anything or even think about anything. Just follow orders. One Margarita, and another Margarita, and then another, until you stagger home drunk. That’s my favorite kind of customer.
