On Saturday, December 7th, at the quarterly meeting of the Michigan Democratic Party State Central Committee, the Party voted (video) to approve a ban on all visual and audio recording and photography for all County, Club, District, Caucus, and State Democratic Party meetings – unless prior authorization is given by Lavora Barnes, Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party.

Good point. Blech. I pity the person who has to watch MSNBC and CNN as part of their job.

But patience, patience. It will be like sitting in a Klan meeting and recording some good information. It can be distributed on the Internet however websites like Youtube will probably block it. I am certain some entities might want it.

Also, are they going to search everyone at the door for cell phones and cameras? Apparently yes.
