People hunger for a fair and decent world... so they make mistakes.. they think, 'maybe it's possible we could be treated fairly too". But like you point out it's never gonna happen.

White liberal elites who run the New York Times and Washington Post protect fellow elites, the powerful, and those that trash common citizens. They have contempt for the powerless ... and that's how it's always going to be.
