The entire concept of a secret Court - for any reason - undermines the very nature of this nation’s constitutional foundations. FISA Courts have institutionalized the violation of the fundamental rights of the American citizenry.

From the NY Slimes itself in July of 2013: “Unlike the Supreme Court, the FISA court hears from only one side in the case – the government – and its findings are almost never made public.”

We continue to be the sheeple - and Trump is our last chance to expose and dismantle the scrutiny-free, oppressive so-called “legal” institutions erected by Bush & Obama.

MARIS LOVES KIMBERLEY STRASSEL....

In a good friend way

I was hoping an honest, real investigative reporter would face this glaring misstep from the FISA court.

You Go, Girl!!

Senate has some free time given Pelosi is stalling on impeachment. Maybe McConnell should have a Senate committee schedule a public hearing with the FISC chief judge?

Mark Levin said the other day that Landmark Legal (?) filed a motion 2-1/2 years ago with FISC about these issues, and the motion was thrown out. So, they have known for a long time that there was something rotten there, and they tried to cover it up. They must all hate Trump, but that’s not justification for what they’ve done.

The FISC abuses have been widely reported for literally years. There is nothing left for the Deep STate to “cover up” there. They are just stalling and running the clock out on Trump.

Why?
............................................
Obviously because the VISA judge involved is a Deep State puppet who, like all of her ilk, despises the President, Why? Because he is an “outsider” not a member of the corrupt and criminal cabal that has had a stranglehold on our Federal government for decades. Also because he is “outing” them and subjecting them to the condemnation they so rightly deserve, and ultimately he may cause some of them to be imprisoned.

WHY? The FISC judges, including SC Chief John Roberts, didn’t want to know the truth. They figured that any and all blame, if it turned bad, could be placed on DoJ and FBI. Just as we’re seeing now.

I'm wondering when we'll learn that the FISA judges were colluding in the coup?

We really don't how the court operates. I read recently the judges take 1 week turns as the active judge. Evidently they commute to DC for their turn. 3 of the 4 FISC judges approving the Carter Page FISA were from out of town. This would explain why 4 different judges signed off. I would expect the FISC court would have permanent staff members to handle the filings and most of the work. The judge then signs the request between shopping trips and sightseeing..

Somehow I don’t think that qualities as a reason to ignore extremely important information like that which was presented.

Do they read the papers?? Do they watch TV. Were they aware that what was being discussed ad infinitum, involved THEM??

Inquiring minds do want to know. The excuse given is they have no way to verify. We will never know, but I am guessing the 4th judge never knew about Landmark Legal Foundation brief filed in April.

Deep State rule continues.

Most of these “judges” would have gone along with the FBI’s lies even if they knew or strongly suspected that they were lies. After all, most judges are now just political activists. Look into the background of these FISA “judges” would probably reveal that they are 0bama and Clinton supporters or appointees.

I am not sure I would broadly paint all judges as political activist, though its certainly true in many cases.

However, I would charge that a large majority of judges are going to be predisposed to give greater credibility to law enforcement agency personnel than to average Joe citizen, no matter how upstanding Joe citizen may be. If the LEO personnel are not honest themselves, then the system can be manipulated against the citizenry. And most certainly, the DA's view their jobs as to get convictions, not find truth. That is why its so sad and outrageous that simply saying you dont want to talk to police without a lawyer is presented to the court by the DA as a sign of guilt.

Major scandals need major media to trumpet the scandal into majority.

Otherwise, it is only a foot note in some backwater publication.

This media we have currently, is bent on the destruction of the USA, so any news to the contrary is simply left to die on the vine, regardless of who or how high it goes.

That is a question that has bothered me for a long time. Why have the FISA judges been quiet when the facts show clearly they were hoodwinked. Why???

Nunes was being demonized by the MSM, and his Dem & nevertrumper counterparts in Congress, at this time. She was waiting to see which way the wind was going to blow.

Hopefully, when congress reforms the FISA process it will include the extinction of the current court and its judicial appointments. I hope Graham has an oversight hearing and calls the presiding judge as a witness. That would almost guarantee it.

Why did the presiding judge stonewall Rep. Devin Nunes when he reported FBI abuses?

Let me guess... because the judge is part of the swamp and also complicit? /s
