I agree with everything in your post except the foregoing. The democrat attack on the Constitution started with Wilson and became extreme during the New Deal under Roosevelt. All the “living constitution” crap has been standard democrat dogma since at least 1934.

Levin seemed to have been a NeverTrumper but was not like the rest of that ilk. When he saw what was actually going on he became a fan. Me, I went from who is this boob? to ardent supporter when Cruz responded to all those nasty things Trump said about him in the primaries and thus proved that my favorite Cruz could not handle the invective and hate that would overwhelm him if he got to be President. Trump made him flash his weakness and at the same time showed that he, Donald Trump, could handle it.
