Childrens magical movies are often deeply rooted in reality. Frozen II is an example of an animation that allows us to engage our children in discussions of climate change and other important, often complex events that define our time.
Its worth a lot more than the approximately 1 billion dollars already generated for Disney. We can use this film to explain to them why global warming is such a hot topic at the dinner table.
The increasingly frequent wildfires and hurricanes are not natural rumbles from the planets peanut gallery. Instead, they represent a big problem that we can fix if we all work together to find a big solution.
Every single character has a role to play. Those of us with power, the Elsas, the parents the politicians, must use that power to confront crises head-on. Those without it, the Annas and the voters, must be a constant and vocal pressure to do the right thing, even when it may be inconvenient.
People isolated from science, the Kristoff' and Svens, must step forward with a simple offer of how can I help? Most important, however, are the Olafs, our children.
These supernatural creatures provide us with hope, joy and a reason to fight for the future. They give us something worth sacrificing for. Because a world cut off from the magic of nature is a world without Olafs and a world without Olafs may not be worth having at all.

NEITHER of those loathsome topics will be allowed at my Christmas table.
Dr. Michael Rosenbaum is a d...
Such is the current state of liberal science.
Rumors and Disney movies.
Oh, and the...”press”.
These people are insane... not only is Frozen II a piss poor movie... honestly without being able to milk the name from the first one, this thing was a forgettable meh.... Disney will make Billions off it.. and good for them.. but hardly am I going to use it as a stepping stone for discussions on anthropomorphic global warming....
The only think in common between these two things, is they are both fiction... at least within the context of the propaganda around them.
“increasingly frequent” in this case being a highly-technical term that means “happens at about the same rate as it always has”.
Wow, I hope his Christmas gets more interesting.
We’ve discussed climate change around our table in derisive terms, mocking the brainless, non-scientific bleatings of the media.
We also cite the solar cycles, the Mideval warming period, and the Vostok ice core samples as valid, accurate scientific evidence.
We have interesting discussions.
Princess Elsa would have benefitted from Globull Warming. She was quite Icy.
My comment on anything to do with Frozen, Let it go.
Why? Why do we have to discuss these issues with children? Why do the left want our children living in fear? Is it so we can produce a billion little Gretas.. all ready to send their parents off to the gulags. If we only have ten years till it’s too late what point would there be in brainwashing children or disturbing their upbringing? These a..holes dont do a lot of thinking!
So, he is not a scientist, and probably his only classes in anything that might qualify him as an expert in climate or in the chemical and physical behaviors of carbon dioxide were those boring basic science courses that many physicians have told me are their least favorite subjects.
CO2 is necessary for life. Furthermore, the mechanism proposed to be responsible for CO2's remarkable ability to increase the heat/energy content of the atmosphere does not, cannot actually cause an increase in atmospheric energy in a way that would increase temperature or cause storm activity. The climate cycle is very complicated; it cannot be reduced to being the result of a single gas in the air.
Climate alarmists would have more credibility if there were a steady invariable climate prior to the industrial age. But there wasn't, so they don't.
So it like, comes to life in human form?
“The increasingly frequent wildfires and hurricanes....”
Self-proclaimed “environmentalists” are responsible for many wildfires — and especially the most devastating ones. Over-zealous fire-suppression is the underlying cause of most large fires today. Hurricanes are not getting more frequent.
Never seen Frozen or Cars, Toys or The Lion King.
You’d have to have the intelligence of a carrot or Slow Joe Biden to consider either of those as topics for a Christmas dinner.
My God, these idiots ruin everything.
That’s a great point. I guess if confronted they would simply say their message is so important it supersedes the need to protect the environment (just as jet-setting politicians and actors already seem to feel as they head to “climate summits” in private jets).
