Let’s just say the author isn’t where she is in her career because of what comes out of her mouth.

As a professional journalist, shouldn’t she say “after the house voted to impeach”. Whether he’s actually been impeached is not clear.
Maybe she means “historic“ in terms of the house incompetence.
I tweak my Dem rep that it won’t be so bad when she loses her seat in the worst Congress in history.

You noticed that too. It makes it sound like something Trump did, rather than something that was done to him.
I can almost hear Trump bragging about it.
