Former Hawaii Democratic governor calls on Gabbard to resign

Former Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie (D) on Monday called on Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) to resign from Congress, citing her "present" vote on impeaching President Trump and absence from Capitol Hill due to her presidential campaign.

“I feel very strongly the 2nd District of Hawaii must be fully represented,” Abercrombie, a Democrat who previously served in the House for nearly two decades, said at a press conference, according to the Honolulu Civil Beat.

Abercrombie said Gabbard should step down and allow a special election to fill her seat. Gabbard, who has served in the House since 2013, has already said that she will not seek reelection to focus on her presidential campaign.

She won’t get funding because she hasn’t been there long enough to be completely bought out yet.

Politicians should be careful of what they ask for.

As I read it, the earliest state deadline to get on the ballot as an independent for the November presidential election is North Carolina and it's 3/3/10.

It requires 70,665 signatures. Maybe doable just by Tulsi Gabbard herself but certainly doable if DJT mentions something about it at a rally.

“ Fine with 49.”

I love it.

I still have an old 48 star flag if you want to dump California too.

Just wait until the blacks realize that the queers don’t support them... And the queers realize that the feminists hate their guts... And the feminists realize that the illegal Invaders want to recreate their corrupt “machismo” system here.

I’ll never understand how Satan keeps them all in the corral.

If they will attack each other like this, imagine what they would do to conservatives if unfettered by the law.

They certainly showed that they're willing to vote away the rights of the minority and the accused in how they constructed the rules for the House impeachment inquiry. But we're the fascists.

Whatever a Liberal accuses you of, is exactly what they are guilty of.

Hmmm I think I solved that mystery. Maybe 0 thought each island in Hawaii was a separate state.

But, the Dem party has drifted so far to the left...

You mean someone like Bernie Sanders who Tulsi Gabbard endorsed in the last election?

Pro killing babies in the womb.
Pro gay marriage.
Pro socialist.

You seem enamored with Tulsi. Are those the basic qualifications you look for in a candidate?

I am certainly not one of those love struck lovers of Gabbard that exist on FR that thinks she’s hot or whatever motivates their desires for this pock-marked plain faced chunky commie.

But I will say there is something about her that makes her fellow rats just hate her. There has got to be something going on in the background that has yet to be exposed.

Neil is the guy who searched high and low through the halls of Hawaii’s government buildings of records and databases, ostensibly trying to fulfill his campaign promise of presenting Barry’s Long Form Birth Certificate (LFBC).

The best Neil could come up with from his search was that he “[found] something written down” (he said to his radio host friend).

That, despite the fact that only a few short months later “Loretta Fuddy” a clandestine CIA asset, would supposedly find that certificate “right where it was supposed to be!” Even before Abercrombie’s big search, the previous Director of Hawaii’s Department of Health said she’d examined Barry’s LFBC on two occasions. She stayed around in Honolulu throughout these months of Neil’ssearch. Did she just not want to help Neil? Was he too stupid or sexist to have asked her?

When you’ve got CIA assets hiding documents, it’s anyone’s guess why you can’t find them, but I’d concur that Neil isn’t all that bright.

If Abercommie has time on his hands, why doesn’t he explain the whole truth about Obama’s birth certificate, that he supposedly searched for without success, but said it had been “written down”?

I hate that the phrasing is always “Democratic” when referring to that party. The former Democratic Governor. The Democratic Convention. It should be the former Democrat Governor, or the Democrat Convention. It’s a small trick, but a prevalent one.

So by failing to vote yes on impeachment, Tulsi is not representing the wishes of her constituency?

I can understand the logic of that. Maybe Tulsi should change her vote.

While we're changing votes to more accurately represent our districts, there's 31 "red" districts who need the same action.

Fair is fair, right?
