When President John Adams visited the city in 1774, he wrote in his diary: With all the opulence and splendor of this city, there is very little good breeding to be found.
I have not seen one real gentleman, one well-bred man, since I came to town, he continued ...
They talk very loud, very fast and altogether. If they ask you a question, before you can utter three words of your answer they will break out upon you again and talk away.
You gotta problem with that, John?
Being rude, unhappy an angry about everything while being consumed by hate is the trademark of liberalism.
You got me beat. I thought I was doing pretty good at 43 states and 3 countries
Unfortunately, Commeticutt is but an extension of New York City, making it possibly the most unfriendly and unhelpful state in the country.
I’ve never really ran into a group of rude people. Individually yes , but for the most part they are alright. Unless you wear a MAGA hat anywhere.
People in NYC are downright open and kind compared to the refuse that litters the streets of DC.

Washington state? or are you talking about DC? Never heard DC residents being called Washingtonians, that is reserved for Washington state, where all descendants come from loggers and whores.
Back in my college days, I drove out to NJ to visit a then-girlfriend. I read in a local paper that Bob and Ray were appearing at a NYC theater.

I laughed out loud at their lame jokes.
She sat scowling at the performers and me...
I resemble that remark.

Well, did you cut your hair? :p
They needed a survey?
I well remember a trip I took on the New Jersey Turnpike 10 years ago. I had missed a toll due to using, mistakenly, an E-Z Pass lane and the toll taker had to calculate my “fine” which caused a short backup behind me. The language some guy in a car behind me used while he had to wait would have made a WW II Navy Veteran blush.
