I'm delighted they are shunning Gabbard, because I think she would have the best chance against Trump.

It interests me because - apart from her sin of voting "present" on impeachment - she is pretty much on-board with most leftist policies EXCEPT using our military for "nation-building" and other interventionist wars that have nothing to do with protecting our national security in any obvious way.

This suggests that the left now wants our military to be used for ITS purposes - for globalist purposes - and not in the interests of the United States. This is something new.

I think the left wants to use our military as the muscle of globalist projects, both abroad and - chillingly - here in the USA. I would not be surprised if one of these projects will be to use the US military as the enforcement power for disarming American citizens. In Virginia, the left is already talking about using the National Guard for that purpose.

You better believe they were told you vote for impeachment or we make your life hell. The NJ rep even had to leave the party because he knew what was coming his way. The fact that he did it so far in advance and so public probably saved his life.

I hope not. Don't give people who are not comfortable with Trump, but completely disgusted with the Democrats an option. I know that may sound like heresy, but a lot of people find Trump off-putting, but could not bring themselves to vote for Hillary, and will not vote for Warren or Sanders.

MSN and Newsweek reported Two days after President Donald Trump gave Representative Tulsi Gabbard “respect” for casting a neutral vote on his impeachment, she tweeted an earlier interview in which she said he was unfit to serve as commander in chief.

If one little molecule was left in President Trump of the “be a good little boy and play nice” childhood teaching, I hope it was flushed out of him after that.

Tulsi appeals to a niche (one that includes some Republicans), but not to most Democrats. Somehow I don’t think she would have much appeal in a general election. She’s wouldn’t be hated by most voters (though hated by some in her own party) but she wouldn’t generate much real enthusiasm or get voters excited enough to go to the polls.
