The $100 cap on processing fees for concealed firearm licenses is going away with the passage of AB 1297 by Assemblyman Kevin McCarty, D-Sacramento. County sheriffs can now charge “an amount equal to the actual costs for processing the application,” according to the bill, which takes effect Jan. 1.

Hmmm. How much should someone charge for typing a name and DOB into a computer?
I say a dollar.
Everyone good with that?

Well the sheriff will factor in the cost of the building maintenance, electricity, salaries, etc., and come up with a dollar amount it costs to type names/information on a form plus the cost of the form too.

NO; I am not good with that!

Why should my DOB and NAME be entered into a government computer just for exercising my Second Amendment GOD GIVEN rights?
