A century and a half ago in 1881, a famous shootout occurred in Tombstone, Arizona at the OK Corral between the Earp brothers and the Clanton-McLaury gang. The OK stood for Old Kindersley, a livery and horse stable.
OK today is a variation of okay, a term of approval, acceptance or acknowledgement. Along with the word is a familiar hand gesture, the thumb and index finger touching end to end, forming a circle for the O.
Like so many other American cultural traditions, leave it to the left to find something as innocuous as the OK hand gesture to be a racist symbol, a secret dog whistle of white supremacy.
After all, even Christmas season isn’t immune from charges of racism. A Boston University professor claims the classic “Jingle Bells” is racist. Even a traditional cup of ice cream, half chocolate and half vanilla is deemed racist.
Another American tradition, the Army-Navy football game found itself in the middle of the latest racial controversy. Earlier this month, President Trump attended the classic annual game. Rather than reporting on the thunderous ovation he received, the media, who claims no one likes Trump, had to return to one of their favorite story lines, racism.

Some “journalist” at CNN does this crap. One day he posts on 4chan “the OK symbol is a sign for White Nationalists” and the next day they have a story about the white Supremacists at 4 Chan. It’s literal masturbation.

Our family had a black housekeeper/babysitter when my brother and I were about 10-12 years old. Her name was Pearl and she was on of those trustworthy to a fault black people.
Well, one day my brother and I got into one of our weekly knock down drag out fights. I whooped my brother pretty good and he jumped up and called me nxxxxxr.
Pearl heard it, my brother tried to apologize to her. She sat us down, said there was no need to apologize because she was not one. She then explained what she felt the meaning of it was and finished by saying, "Now you boys need to understand though, there are white nxxxxxrs and there are black nxxxxxrs and these are the people you need to avoid.
Has stuck with me all my life.

the gunfight at the OK corral was actually fought down the street at the vacant lot between Flys photography studio and the boarding house where Doc Holliday was staying.
Everybody knows, I mean everybody, that when Obama and Hillary and Pelosi use the OK gesture, it really means 666.

Before I read the excerpt I thought the story was going to be about how the media has been twisting the news to make it more readable/memorable since the shootout at the vacant lot between the studio and the boarding house.
