I love the fact that my President just trolls the living daylights out of the progressive libtards ..... :-)
The NY Legislature has turned all the local governments into thieves. Rochester NY is a good example.
Help Denied!
Unless and until these morons start the own basic societal reforms - no amount of help - i.e. money - is going to solve their problems.
Start with voting democrats OUT. Then outlaw homeless camps and sleeping in streets and parks. Deny $15.00 wage requirements. Restore anti-drug laws. Etc.
You know. Common sense.
California and New York must do something about their TREMENDOUS Homeless problems.
They did they created it.
120 million ???? Ha, ha, Ha
That alone will be his wife's cut
The fact that they would have to grovel to Trump will just reinforce the liberal mania making the problem worse.
When I grew tired of the mess on my deck, I took down the bird feeder.
Quinns 1st law: Liberalism always creates more of the problem they are saying they will fix.
Not a federal issue. Let the states wallow in their liberalism
Trump must be layughing his a** off....wonder whatNY will lose in taxes since he is now a Florida resident.
Newsom will downplay the problem by reclassifying them as outdoorsmen.
Perfect. They can admit they failed or tell everybody that the homeless crisis is not an issue. The dems always talk about the homeless but don’t really care about it. It’s just a crisis they don’t want to waste.
The inner cities are next.
The majority of the public believe the “Hallmark Channel Movie” version of who and what the “homeless” are. The issue is framed in a highly inaccurate way that anyone who has hands on experience trying to assist this population knows is not helpful.
The majority of those now labeled “homeless” used to have problems with alcohol and mental problems. It has now evolved into a situation, where at least where I worked, heavy marijuana useage is a huge contributing factor. We have an entire community of people whose only desire is to sit around and smoke, vape, or eat pot until they lose their homes or ability to pay rent. The issue exploded after pot was legalized here a few years ago. But the police in this area had been basically ignoring marijuana users for decades previously. But the availability and ease of acquisition increased greatly after legalization.
The "successful" ones manage to get some type of government benefit usually for being fat or some mostly faked (at first) disability. The ones who are not successful at bilking the government out of enough money to keep a roof over their heads make up most of the “homeless”.
Would be so easy with competence!
But their level of competence is.................... oh well, you know what I mean.
Peter Principle
Even if they ask politely, he should tell them it is their problem they created and he is not about to inherit the thankless task of helping them while they then blame him for it. Let them and their voters sleep in their own mess.
Stay out of it. This is not a federal problem.
Money will n0t solve this problem. Trump should be attacking leftist policies that destroy the family, individual responsibility, private charity, and rigorous enforcement of law and city ordinances. There is not a big government solution for this localized problem.
Giving homeless free government housing at great cost to taxpayers won’t work, They will make the free housing look just like the tent cities they have constructed on the sidewalks of their cities.
Our president is wrong on this one
Strictly speaking since Congress appropriates money then the states don’t need to ask Trump for anything, politely or otherwise.
In my area the homeless have been removed from the surrounding area in the past month or two. Same for the Sepulvada Dam park area. The politicians do not care so I wonder what made them do this?
