If the Senate said they would supoena all the worthless Dems and their children AND it was clear they had the votes non of this would be a serious discussion. Simultaneous impeachments are Constitutionally impossible.
Whoever is President can appoint a new VP—and the Senate can confirm the appointment—well before that President’s impeachment could be considered by the Senate. So the only way for impeachment to result in a Democrat President is for the Senate (and hence, the GOP) to permit it.

Ok, there was the theory months back that the NYT and Washington Post were gleefully cheering, about the possibility of removing Trump and Pence simultaneously, so that Pelosi would be installed as POTUS. And then, Pelosi would appoint Hillary as Vice President, and then promptly resign, making Hillary the POTUS.
It’s all ridiculous, and I’m not scared, but really, is this what they are actually trying to do? I mean, impeachment isn’t going their way, they need to constantly be upping the ante to keep the GOP guessing. Is this where we are now? With the implementation of the craziest conspiracy theory ever devised?
