On Sunday’s broadcast of ABC’s “This Week” roundtable, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) said Republicans could flip three Democratic House seats in the 2020 election as a result of the impeachment of President Donald Trump.
Christie said, “You know what’s happening in blue New Jersey, a very blue state. Jeff Van Drew switches from Democrat to Republican, from the majority party to the minority party in the middle of impeachment because of impeachment. Andy Kim, who won his seat two years ago, is now losing to Katie Gibbs, his Republican challenger. And Tom Malinowski is losing to Tom Kaine Jr., the son of the former governor.”
He continued, “You could wind up flipping three seats back in New Jersey two years later in this race, and I think impeachment is a large part of it, at least in New Jersey. Even in a blue state where Donald Trump’s approval ratings are in the high 30s.”
He added, “Three seats in New Jersey if Republicans win three seats in New Jersey it’s going to be a Republican House.”

Somerset/Hunterdon have traditionally been Republican. Malinowski is a first termer, and I can see him losing his seat in November.
Yeah well why didn’t you campaign for Republican candidates in NJ when your coat tails were longer ya big lump? And that goes for the special election that put Cory Booker in office. You could have appointed a Republican for the duration of Loutenberg’s term but noooo. Go sit on a beach chair!
I’m guessing Malinowski always planned to be a short-timed. He never really moved to NJ from Washington when he was elected.

I live in Ocean County. My wife and I and her younger sister and her brother-in-law and her sisters two daughters and their husbands are vote Republican. I used to be a Democrat. I was born and raised in Kearny, West Hudson County.
So Fat Ass has crawled out of his cave. When this RINO was running for governor he said “Illegal aliens haven’t commited any crime’’.
I really wished trump picked him as AG in 2017. I think everything would have gone differently.

No. The only thing about him I know was from the debates. It just seem to me that he would not have recused himself and would have possibly put the democrats in their place. Maybe I would have been wrong.
